VENETO / PIOVENE

 

[PIOVENE]

Biovene

Vicenza Province, Toala

 

◎.An authentic wine that embodies the dignity of the Piovene Porto Godi family, which has been producing wine since 1584.

 

- Biovene Porto Godi is a family-run winery.

Along with the rhythm of the earth, the strength of the grape vines and the voice of the sun, the dignity and cultural flavor of the family who continue to live in this area are beautifully reflected in the winemaking.

BioVene wine can also be said to be the wine of Toara, as the people of Toara continue to have the custom of bringing empty bottles to buy wine directly from the bulk store.

 

The Colli Berici DOC, also famous for its cycling and walking routes, is located in a gently undulating hilly area made of karst limestone, with good drainage, and has a microclimate suitable for growing vineyards.

The village of Toala is known as the most prosperous grape-growing area, and Piovene owns vineyards in a prime location on the hillside.

Tommaso refurbished the winery in the 1990s, and his five children have since taken over the care of the vineyards and winemaking.

Variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc

(Several clones including R3)

Vinification: Harvested at full ripeness. Vinified in stainless steel. Aged in acacia and oak.

 

A barrel-aged Sauvignon made from fully ripe grapes from a single vineyard in Campiges.

Hints of white pepper, herbs, lemon jam and honey.

Barrel aging gives it a mellow mouthfeel and rich body, with a long, lingering finish.

 

 

Faustine white wine

Sauvignon Colli Berici

FOSTINE Sauvignon Colli Berici DOC

 

Variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc

(Several clones including R3)

Brewing: Stainless steel fermentation and aging

 

○. Aroma and taste of fresh herbs and hot fruit. A full-bodied Sauvignon.

 

R3 is a highly aromatic clone planted in Friuli.

A bright, youthful yellow-green with aromas of herbs and peach. It has the robust aroma and flavor of heated grapes.

 

 

RiveSelle red wine

Thai Rosso Colli Berici

RIVESELLE Tai Rosso Coll Berid DOC

 

Variety: Thai Rosso 100%

Brewing: Stainless steel fermentation and aging

 

○.Noble and simple taste.

Thai Rosso is said to be derived from Grenache, a grape variety from southern France.

The sweet aroma of red fruits, herbs and spices and the full-bodied fruitiness are complemented by strict tannins that bring the whole to a mellow finish.
